  • The Meakins-Christie Laboratories would like to welcome two new members:
    Carolyne Baglole from the Universtity of Rochester, who is working on the role of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor in lung disease and Dao Nguyen from the Montreal General Hospital, who is working on the molecular microbiology of biofilms and Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections. (May 3, 2010)
  • Dao Nguyen has recently received a grant of $140,000 from the CFI s Leaders Opportunity Fund for the study of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa biofilm and antibiotic tolerance (May 3, 2010)

  • We were recently saddened by the passing of Mike Ward, who was at the Meakins-Christie Labs until he moved to Toronto in 1999. An obituary appeared in today’s Globe and Mail (5 Jan, 2010)
